I feel like most companies fall into the trap of only sales. That’s why I go on the whole opposite and saying don’t do any sales. That’s the reason why I go so extreme on that side. Because all I ever see is the opposite.
Don’t focus on sales
All I ever see is sell sell sell sell sell sell sell and I never see like, it’s very rare to see, companies actually trying to provide value at the very end. So that’s the only reason I do agree that you do have to sell 20, 30 of the time, yes, to gain that sale but I see very few companies that they fall into this trap.
Don’t fall into the trap
They start wanting to do more and more sales. They start incrementally pushing 30, 40, 50 because valuable pieces of content take a lot of time and effort to create. They fall into this trap of they incrementally keep going that 20 30 40 and they start just selling more than providing value.
Provide value over sales
I see lots and lots of companies fall into that trap. That’s why I just go full extreme and say just provide value and that’s it and that’s the reasoning for it.
